Riverview Health Centre Foundation is excited to announce that it’s highly anticipated Donor Wall will be unveiled in November!

The wall will feature a combination of permanent panels as well as a digital touch-screen. Donors will be invited to add photographs to accompany the names recorded on the digital screen.

“Due to the pandemic we will not be hosting a large donor wall event but we will be contacting donors individually and arranging for them to view the wall” said Riverview Health Centre Executive Director, Sheldon Mindell.

18 March 2021 Personal Care Home Update We are pleased to report there have been no new positive COVID-19 staff cases announced over the past week.  To date, we have had no RHC residents test positive for COVID-19.   We continue to closely monitor our residents, and will test for COVID-19 should anyone develop symptoms.   Vaccine News Our third immunization clinic was successfully completed today.  We were able to immunize newly admitted Residents and complete second doses for Residents who were ill or hospitalized during previous rounds.   In…

J. Laurie Johnston donates $500,000 to Riverview Health Centre Foundation

Retired local pharmacist and businessman J. Laurie Johnston has donated $1,000,000 to be split evenly between the Misericordia and Riverview Health Centre foundations.Johnston, who was raised in Regina but graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree, started a legacy fund 35 years ago.
