The current health order permits one visitor to attend at a time, and scheduled visits will be 30 minutes in length.  Visits can be booked by calling 204-478-6208.

Visitors with booked appointments are asked to present directly to the outdoor structure at the time of the appointment.  Screening will occur at the structure upon entry.  Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided for visitors upon entry to the structure.  Our PCH Residents will also be required to wear PPE for the duration of the visit.

Program/Hospital Update

There have been no new reported staff cases on our program/hospital side of Riverview Health Centre.

This week, one hospital patient tested positive for COVID-19 upon admission. This patient has had no other close or direct patient interaction. All precautions are in place to prevent spread of the virus, and therefore no staff have experienced exposure at this time.

We continue to closely monitor our patients and will test for COVID-19 should any patients develop symptoms.

Vaccine Update

Planning is underway for our PCH and Chronic Care Residents to receive the first dose of

The COVID-19 Pfizer Vaccine on Thursday, January 28th.  The second dose has been

scheduled for  Friday, February 19th.  Immunizations will be administered by a team of

Nurses from Riverview Health Centre.

Regular updates will continue to be provided on this web page and our covid-19 phone line.  If you have questions specific to your loved one’s health condition, please contact the nursing staff on the unit.

Thank you for your ongoing understanding and support.

Sincerely,
