Rendezvous Club

The Rendezvous Club is a community-based group program that offers recreation, leisure and social programs designed to facilitate engagement as well as providing caregiver relief.
Rendezvous Club has space to accommodate 13 participants per day. A typical day begins at 10 am and ends at 2:30 pm. This does not include travel time.

Who are the staff?

A coordinator and an attendant are available to provide assistance and support to facilitate your participation in The Rendezvous Club. They have experience in creating and delivering programs focused on your social, recreational and leisure needs.

Who is it for?

The Rendezvous Club is open to older adults who live in the South Winnipeg catchment area, who would benefit from attending our Adult Day Program. Our program also accepts participants from across the Winnipeg Health Region who require oxygen. Oxygen is provided for participants while they are in the program.

Who stays in touch with my Home Care Case Coordinator?

The Rendezvous Club Coordinator will maintain contact with your Home Care Case Coordinator when you are accepted, as needs or concerns arise during your time at The Rendezvous Clun when you are discharged.


Where is it located

The Rendezvous Club is located at Riverview Health Centre in the Princess Elizabeth Building, Room 102.

What should I bring?

You should bring the things that you would normally use in a day such as your medications, walking aid or toileting products.

How do I get there?

Transportation arrangements will be made for you.

Is there a cost to attending the Rendezvous Club?

The program daily rate is set by Manitoba Health. You will be billed directly by Riverview Health Centre once per month.

Personal Care

The Rendezvous Club team members are available to assist you with personal care as needed.


What can I expect from a Day at the Rendezvous Club?

The Rendezvous Club helps keep participants active in the community with a focus on enhancing the quality of life and offering respite for caregivers. Club members are offered an opportunity to meet new people and participate in a variety of programs designed and created to meet the social, leisure, cognitive and physical needs of our participants.

What does is cost to participate in The Rendezvous Club?

A daily charge for the program is set by Manitoba Health. This will be collected by the Riverview Health Centre business office, You will be billed monthly. Any questions may be directed to the Club Coordinator.
