The Riverview Health Centre Foundation is pleased to partner with the family of Bruce Bauernhuber, who is a resident of Riverview Health Centre, to present a retrospective of his work, spanning 50 years.
Bruce has experimented with many different art forms; pencil and charcoal drawing, clay modelling, leather work, pastel and oil pastel drawing, coloured pencil, watercolour, oil and acrylic painting. He currently concentrates on acrylic painting and pen and ink drawings.
Being presented are items from private collectors who have loaned their pieces for this exhibition, and from Bruce’s own collection.
About Bruce: Born in 1960, Bruce Bauernhuber grew up on a farm near Arborg in Manitoba’s Interlake. Some of his earliest memories include lying on the floor and drawing while watching hockey games on TV, and of making plasticine models at his grandparents’ home.
