October 4, 2021 COVID-19 Update5 October 2021
October 4, 2021
Third (Booster) Dose vaccination or 3rd Dose for those who are immune compromised: will occur at the COVID-19 vaccine clinics on Oct. 13th or the week of Oct. 18th. (Planning for the flu vaccine is underway).
Visiting: In order to increase efficiencies at the screening station at the front entrance, we have made a slight adjustment to visiting hours, as follows:
- Designated Family Caregivers/Essential Care Partners: visiting hours are from 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- General Visitors: visiting hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
General visitors, please continue to book an appointment, a day ahead at minimum, at 204-478-6208, Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. You are also encouraged, to plan ahead to reduce the need to leave a message or to have to wait for a call back. Visits from children under 12 are still not recommended, as they haven’t had the opportunity to be vaccinated yet. Outdoor and POD visits continue to be the safest way to visit. Please remember to sign out at the end of your visit. Please continue to monitor for any signs of illness and do not come if you are even slightly ill. Please call to cancel your booked visit.
Medical masks and eye protection will continue to be provided at the front entrance when you are screened and required inside and outside.
Thank you for your attention to the guidelines and for your ongoing support. Be well.
