Personal Care Home Update
We are pleased to report our covid-19 status remains stable on our PCH units at Riverview Health Centre. We have had no new staff or any Resident cases announced.
We continue to closely monitor all of our residents for their overall wellbeing and for symptoms of covid-19. We are testing any residents that develop symptoms. Should your loved one’s condition change and they require testing, you will be notified immediately. To date, we have had no residents test positive for covid-19.
We are pleased to welcome back our designated family caregiver visitors on most of our Personal Care Home units. Effective today, one designated caregiver visitor at a time may visit on our AB and CD units between the hours of 11 am and 7 pm. We are hopeful that visitation can resume on 3W in the coming days.
Visitors will be screened for covid-19 symptoms upon arrival. Visitors must come prepared to visit wearing a non-medical face mask. Visitors will also be provided with eye protection upon arrival. Both items must be worn for the entire duration of the visit. Our staff and Residents look forward to seeing you soon!
There have been no new reported staff or patient cases on our program/hospital side of Riverview Health Centre.
All patients at Riverview Health Centre are monitored for symptoms of covid-19. We will test any patients that develop symptoms. Should your loved one’s condition change and they require testing, you will be notified immediately.
We will continue to provide you with timely information during this difficult time. If you have questions specific to your loved one’s health condition, please contact the nursing staff on the unit.
Thank you for your ongoing understanding and support.
