11 December 2020

This week, Riverview Health Centre was the recipient of a donation of 400 potted orchids for our residents and patients.  Thank you to Petals West for this generous donation, guaranteed to brighten the day for all!

Personal Care Home Update

We are pleased to report our covid-19 status remains stable on our PCH units at Riverview Health Centre.  We have had no new staff or any Resident cases announced.

Effective December 5th, designated family caregiver visitation resumed on all Personal Care Home units at Riverview Health Centre. Designated family caregivers arescreened for covid-19 symptoms upon arrival and must wear a non-medical/personal face mask and facility-issued eye protection for the duration of their visit.

We continue to closely monitor all of our residents for their overall wellbeing and for symptoms of covid-19.  We are testing any residents that develop symptoms.  Should your loved one’s condition change and they require testing, you will be notified immediately.  To date, we have had no residents test positive for covid-19.

Program Update

There have been no new reported staff or patient cases on our program/hospital side of Riverview Health Centre.

All patients at Riverview Health Centre are monitored for symptoms of covid-19.  We will test any patients that develop symptoms.  Should your loved one’s condition change and they require testing, you will be notified immediately.

We will continue to provide you with regular updates.  If you have questions specific to your loved one’s health condition, please contact the nursing staff on the unit.

Thank you for your ongoing understanding and support.

Sincerely,

RHC Senior Leadership Team
